World Wide Delivers Global Consistency

World Wide Sires bulls continue to deliver total consistency following publication of the latest sire evaluations (April 2010) The results confirm the company's increasing domination within domestic and international markets according to World Wide Sires UK Sales Director John Cochrane.

FOUR OUT OF TOP NINE ON ACTUAL UK TYPE MERIT

Four of the company's most popular sires are listed in the top nine (Actual) Holstein UK Type Merit rankings. Damion offers +2.76 on Holstein UK Type Merit (UKTM) whilst emerging newcomer Decker offers +2.72 UKTM. Duplex continues to deliver total consistency by offering +2.67 and another World Wide favourite, Mr Sam, boasts a UKTM score of +2.66. International and UK type listings remain positive for Bryce (+2.94) and Lennon (+2.90) as well as global sire of sons, Sanchez (+2.47) and Million (+2.44)

DUPLEX AND DAMION - THE TOP TWO ON TYPE IN CANADA

World Wide proven bulls continue to hold down top listings in Canada with Duplex maintaining his type crown as the No. 1 Conformation sire. Duplex offers +19 on Conformation score based upon 178 classified daughters averaging 93% Good Plus and Better. Stablemate, Damion, is listed in second position offering +18 on Conformation score and Promotion is listed in fourth position by offering +16 on type.


THE NEXT GENERATION EMERGES WITH OMAN-OMAN ON TOP

International MACE sire listings in Canada continues to list Oman-Oman as the No.1 sire. This globally acclaimed Oman son remains one of the most popular bulls for embryo sales as well as sire of son contract matings.

Oman-Oman is listed in second position on UK international rankings with a PLI of +£220 and +1.60 on UK MACE TYPE. His sire, World Wide proven O-Bee, remains in pole-position with a PLI of +£246 and +0.39 on type.



WORLD WIDE BULLS PROVEN IN CANADA DELIVER CONSISTENCY

World Wide Sires bulls proven in Canada are set to deliver outstanding results in the UK according to Sales Director John Cochrane. "The first daughters of Regancrest Design are now milking in the UK and farmers are delighted with their performance. The bull is transmitting high type and production, great udders and feet and legs, and is delivering the true 'Canadian-kind' by offering dairyness with strength," he says.

Design is one of a host of World Wide bulls jointly listed on +12 Conformation score with his Canadian proof now offering 561 scored daughters averaging 82% Good Plus and Better. Durham Ross maintains +12 on type based upon 94 scored daughters averaging 70% Good Plus and Better. The ever popular Mr Sam now has 1,900 scored daughters averaging 79% Good Plus and Better.

The first World Wide son of Mr Sam proven in Canada,  O-Bee Krown, emerged in April with an initial proof of +12 on Conformation score based upon 75 scored daughters averaging 65% Good Plus and Better. September Storm Red factor son, Scientific SS Dusk, continues to deliver high levels of consistency within his +12 type proof. The bull already has 236 first crop scored daughters averaging 77% Good Plus and Better.
