World Wide Results Strengthen UK and Global Position

­World Wide Sires Ltd, continues to assert its international influence following publication of the January 2009 evaluation-run. The company's renowned proven stud has been further strengthened with outstanding results once again being achieved within the UK, US and Canada.

World Wide Sires UK now has two of the top four proven bulls listed on Actual Holstein UK Type Merit (UKTM) as well as having ­four of the top 10 bulls listed on the Top Available UK International Bull listings.  Regancrest Mr Sam maintains third position on Actual listing by offering +3.34 UKTM ratings; +3.08 Mammary, +2.57 on Legs and Feet and a Locomotion score of +2.74. This son of Durham also transmits substantial increases on production by offering +399kgs milk, ­+20.3kgs Fat (+0.07%) +11.2kgs Protein (-0.02%) and a PLI of £115.

Mr Sam continues to impress on close analysis having previously had 106 UK scored daughters in August 2008. The bull has since added 110 classified animals and maintained his ratings with a 216 UK daughter proof. The bull continues to impress in Canada by offering +13 on Conformation score based upon 895 classified daughters averaging 78% Good Plus and Better.

Durham son Mesland Duplex added 143 daughter records to his proof since making his UK debut in August 2008. The bull now has 184 UK scored daughters and increases his TM ratings from +2.83 to new type figures of +3.31.  Duplex also had across the board increases on type to offer new ratings of +2.92 Mammary and +2.97 Legs and Feet. The bull increased his production ratings to +565kgs milk and offers a PLI of £110. Duplex also impresses in Canada by offering +17 on Conformation score based 68 daughters averaging 90% Good Plus and Better.

World Wide Sires influence within the UK  continues on the Top Available International listings with US-proven Blue-Haven Ltd OTS Bryce emerging with a debut proof offering +3.46 UK MACE TM. The bull is a Comestar Outside son bred from an Excellent Patron dam and offers impressive ratings of +3.39 Mammary and + 2.08 Legs and Feet. Bryce is a type specialist and impresses on udder traits by offering +3.22 on Fore Udder Attachment, +3.11 Udder Depth, +2.9 Udder Support and  +3.31 Fore Teat Placement. The bull also offers an impressive +2.78 Mammary score and +2.08 on Legs and Feet. This Durham son is bred from four generations of Excellent scored dams and offers a PLI of +£113. Durham Ross is a Canadian-proven Select Sires bull and offers +14 Conformation score; +13 Mammary System, +18 Median Suspensory and +15 Udder Texture.  The bull has an impressive all-round proof based upon 90 Canadian scored daughters averaging 69% Good Plus and Better.

Canadian-proven Regancrest Design maintains his high type figures and offers UK MACE TM ratings of + 2.78; 2.72 Mammary and +1.82 on Legs and Feet. This Eland son now has 142 scored first-crop daughters averaging 75% Good Plus and Better.
